Our Staff, Your Partner in Travel

We wouldn't be where we are today if it weren't for our staff, the folks responsible for meticulously crafting every aspect of our tours and ushering all 6,000 of our guests to Cuba. All of us here at Insight Cuba are as passionate about travel as you are – in fact, our wanderlust has led us collectively to over 100 countries. Some of our Travel Specialists spend on average two months out of the year on the ground in Cuba, joining tours and exploring the island's every nook and cranny to ensure that we offer the most authentic, meaningful and memorable experiences our guests could ask for.

When you choose to travel with Insight Cuba, you directly support the independent, not-for-profit work of our parent company, Cross-Cultural Solutions (CCS), a recognized leader in international volunteering. 

All of our profits are used to supplement volunteer travel programs for community development initiatives worldwide. More than 30,000 people have volunteered in CCS' programs since its inception in 1995. Your trip with Insight Cuba not only gives you a lifetime of memories, your travel makes it possible for volunteers to affordably travel to marginalized communities around the world.  There they help people help themselves, building bridges of cross-cultural understanding and cooperation.

Legal Travel to Cuba

Our specific people-to-people license was issued by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Asset Control (OFAC). Pursuant to section 31 C.F.R. § 515.565(b)(2) of the Cuban Asset Control Regulations, this license allows any American who books a tour with Insight Cuba to travel to Cuba legally.

As a registered guest on one of our people-to-people tours, you will receive a copy of our OFAC issued license, and Letter of Authorization allowing you to travel to Cuba and re-enter the U.S. legally. Insight Cuba handles all of the paperwork and requirements for your trip. Simply register for one of our programs and leave the rest to us.
