Cassandra was raised in northeast Ohio before completing her bachelor's degree in Business Economics at Miami University. After an early career start in finance, she discovered her true passion in travel and changed her path to discover the world. Over the past 15 years, she has led business processes for a variety of travel organizations, including international volunteerism, gap year programs, and entrepreneurship exchange experiences. Altogether, she has traveled to over 85 countries through study abroad, short-term work assignments, and independent travel.
Over the past 15 years, Cassandra has contributed to the international exchange and inclusion space as a Roundtable Consortium Board Member for the National Clearinghouse of Disability and Exchange and a member of the Building Bridges Coalition. She has also served as an International Volunteerism Task Force Member for the U.S. Center for Citizen Diplomacy and has worked with ServiceNation as an Organizing Committee Member.
Cassandra has been actively involved with the insightCuba family since 2011, but is excited to now join as a full-time staff member. As a part of the insightCuba team, Cassandra leads the continual development and improvement of business processes and systems. She fondly remembers her travel experience to Cuba as one of the most memorable and unique countries she has visited, and looks forward to many returns.
