Kara enjoys exploring the unexplored. She’s climbed volcanoes in Guatemala, camped in the Sahara desert, enjoyed the beauty of Machu Picchu and visited with the Maasai tribe in Tanzania. People often tell Kara she’s lucky to have had these experiences—but she answers, “It’s not luck. You make it happen.”
Kara became addicted to international travel in 2003 after her first experience with Cross-Cultural Solutions in Brazil. She has since traveled to more than ten countries around the world. She has lived all over the US, and currently calls the Pacific Northwest home.
Kara loves playing a part in shaping travel experiences for others. She enjoys ‘showing people around Cuba’, and says, “It’s a fascinating country. Everyone should see it.”.
