North Dakota native Nicole graduated from Minnesota State University Moorhead with a degree in Spanish language and culture and a minor in religious studies. She furthered her education with a semester in Buenos Aires, at the University of Belgrano, and later moved to Panama City.
Nicole has also spent time in México, Colombia, Uruguay, and Chile, and traveled throughout the United States and Canada. She hopes to visit many more countries. One of her fondest travel memories is of passing through every type of climate zone in just a few hours while crossing the Andes by bus from Argentina to the Chilean coast.
Nicole’s other hobbies include learning languages, teaching English, fire dancing, reading, running, and ice hockey. She has previously advised students preparing to go abroad, and loves helping others enjoy cultural experiences in Cuba.
