Victoria Falana
Victoria, also known by her stage name, “Falana,” is a Nigerian-Canadian soul singer and musician. While exploring her artistic voice, she discovered the music of Cuba and developed her signature “soul fusion” sound: a blend of jazz, soul, Afro beat, and R&B. Victoria moved to Havana in 2012, and spent more than a year performing, collaborating, and refining and recording her debut EP, “Things Fall Together.”
Victoria is also a travel and language enthusiast who speaks Spanish, French, and the West African language Yoruba. She loves meeting and connecting with new people. She studied sociology at the University of Havana, and Cuban history and politics at the University of Western Ontario. Creative and curious, Victoria looks forward to helping other travelers discover Cuba’s sights and sounds.
