Stuck in Time

Almost exactly 57 years ago, the Kennedy Administration imposed the first legislation restricting exports to Cuba. Many other U.S. Administrations have since followed suit, growing what is commonly known today as the U.S. embargo of Cuba. 

Because Cuba’s trade has been restricted for the last half century, you’ll truly notice how dated everything is; from the cars on the road, to the architecture, and even to the Wi-Fi connection!

Baseball in Cuba – It’s a Home Run!

There are many religions practiced in Cuba, but the universal religion is baseball. Baseball and Cuba have an inseparable history. The the game arrived on the island in the 1860’s when returning students brought it home from the United States, and it became an instant hit (no pun intended).
