Havana
Hotel Overview

Hotel Inglaterra opened in 1875 and has been one of the preferred hotels in the heart of Old Havana ever since. The historic hotel has even hosted some famous guests, including José Martí and Anna Pavlova.

Among Hotel Inglaterra’s appeals is the animated and dynamic sidewalk café, the Gran Café el Louvre, which has hosted musicians, travelers, poets, professors and visitors from all over for over a century. Relax in this outdoor area, where you can listen to live music and watch the lively Havana street scene unfold. The indoor dining area El Colonial, is where breakfast is served and is across from the neoclassical styled reception area. On the left of El Colonial is the bar/café La Sevillana, another inviting spot to dine and enjoy drinks. This whole section is attractively paneled with ceramic tiles from Seville in rich patterns and colors, complemented by ornately carved archways and molding.

Another part of this hotel's charm is the beautiful rooftop terrace that features a bar/grill, and is consistently ranked as a top Havana experience. During the day, enjoy the jacuzzi and sun beds in the solarium, then have some cocktails accompanied by live music at night. Needless to say, the view from here is fabulous. You're sure to love the superior amenities and service the Hotel Ingleterra has to offer.
